FAQ's

Q:Will I need to sign a contract?
A:Pacific Mortgage Processing uses a standard Loan Processing Agreement. This easy-to-understand agreement outlines our procedures and what both parties can expect.

Q:What type of loans do you process?
A:All types: conventional, government, sub-prime and non-conforming.

Q:Do you do out-of-state loans?
A:No, we process California loans only.

Q:How long will the processing take per file?
A:Our goal is to complete the processing and send your package to the lender within two weeks, but many files can be approved within 48 hours.

Q:What lenders can I use?
A:You may provide us with a list of lenders that you wish to use, or you may depend on our experience to find the best lender for your borrower. We access thousands of lenders and know who is offering a program that might best suit your client.

Q:How do I get a package to your office?
A:You will receive pre-paid overnight delivery labels with your registration package.

Q:How do I register and what are the fees?
A:There is no fee to register with us. Just click HERE for an account application form. Once your application is approved, usually within 24 hours, we will send you a complete registration package.

Q:How do you get paid?
A:Our fee is placed on the HUD at closing, just as an appraiser or survey company is paid.

QWill you contact my borrower?
A:We contact your borrower only on small matters such as insurance agent names and missing documents, and only with your permission. We think that borrowers are best served by working with their loan officer, so we will refer any questions regarding rates, terms and time frames back to the loan officer.
